I can empathize with this sooooo much…people just do NOT get it. And it’s super hurtful when your fears are dismissed as a phase or considered selfish. I do kick around the idea of kids…but I don’t want to be pregnant.

…lture pretty much believes it’s something that you do. It’s a part of nature and our duty as women. Reveal anything to the contrary, and they simply don’t understand. My mother knows that I fear pregnancy, but has always laughed it off. It’s merely a phase to her.
